We are so glad you are here! Our mission is to provide safe spaces of hope and healing for people who have been or are at risk of being sexually exploited.
We offer tools and support to help adult (sis gender) women who have experienced sexual exploitation or are considering leaving "the life" find hope, healing and make a new start.
Our staff are educated professionals and our programs are survivor informed. Feel free to explore this site and if you have any questions or concerns use the contact form at the bottom of the page.
We'd love to talk with you! Applying to our program is easy, just click the button below and your confidential application will be sent to our program director who will follow up with you soon.

We believe that there is no “one size fits all” approach to
helping women find healing and reach their goals. Because of this, every woman works through
an Individual Care Plan with in partnership with the Case Coordinator and Program Director.

Being a strengths-based organization means that we value the unique qualities and strengths of each woman. Our staff helps you identify and uncover your strengths so that you can use them to accomplish your goals during your time with us.

We believe that community living is an essential part of a healthy life. While enrolled in our program you will meet people from all walks of life that we hope will become life-long friends. We encourage intentionally connecting with others to build a community of support that will follow you after you leave the program.

Everything we do at Sheltered91 is motived by the relationship we
have with God by the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
We seek to share the gospel when given the opportunity. Neither faith in Jesus Christ nor church attendance is required to participate in Sheltered91 services.

Weekly Care Coordination is a time for you to receive support to reach your short-term and long-term goals. With your care coordinator, you will complete an Individualized Care Plan that will guide your time at S91. Your care coordinator will collaborate and strategize with you to reach the goals on your care plan through weekly planning sessions and connections to other community resources and partners.

We understand that past and current traumatic events can negatively impact daily life and may limit your ability to function in healthy ways. Our trauma informed services help you find healing through healthy coping skills, minduflness, self compassion and connection with other women with similar experiences. Individual and group therapy are available as part of your overall Individual Care Plan.

Participants who qualify can apply to the Reach Transitional and Independent Living Program. A housing subsidy and therapeutic care are included. Participants are required to sign a housing contract and weekly program participation is required. Sheltered91 rents properties in both Illinois and Indiana.
